Day 1. Arrival at Malaga. Transfer to Cordoba.
Pick up at Malaga international airport and transfer to Córdoba (170 km). Handout of our booklet guide, updated with the latest, historical research of Al-Andalus.

Day 2. Cordoba.
Morning excursion and tour in Medinat Al-Zahra, the Caliph's court city and, now, palace ruins. This includes a visit to local museum and expositions.
Visit the Historical Medinat of Córdoba and the Ummayad Mosque, Alkasr Royal Palaces, Jewish quarters, old city walls, Live Museum of Al-Andalus, and an opportunity to see the Andalusian courtyard homes, streets and alleys.
Free evening program in the historical and modern centre of Cordoba.

Day 3. Seville.
 
Continue down the Guadalquivir river to Seville (150 km).
Guided visits in Seville's historical center. Includes the Alkasr Royal Palaces & Gardens, Cathedral of Seville, modern Giralda, Torre del Oro, Jewish quarters, old medina and city walls, Parque de Maria Luisa, Plaza de España and, finally, an opportunity to check out the ruins of the Almohad courtyard and minaret. We will be splitting our different site seeing itineraries throughout our full time in town.
To start, we walk the historical centre of Sevilla leading on to the modern centre and shopping boulevards. Night walks, flamenco show and horse carriage rides are available during your free evening in Seville.

Day 4. Seville-Granada.
After completing our Guided visits around Seville's historical centre, we will move swiftly to Granada (260 km). On the way, we will stop to visit the city of Ronda in the Mountains north of Málaga. Here, we will learn about the different historical periods of the Iberian Peninsula, specifically in regard to Muslim Spain. Our tour takes us through the streets and alleyways of the old medina, with various stops, expositions, secret tunnels and the Hammam of Ronda.

Day 5. Granada, the last Muslim Kingdom of Al-Andalus. Tour of the Alhambra court city, palaces and gardens.

Guided visit to the Alhambra palatial town, including the Nashrid Palaces, Alkasaba fortress, Generalife summer palace & gardens, and the old medina of the Alhambra. Afterwards, we move on to visit the old medina of Garnatta and it’s main areas, divisions, and city walls. We will visit the Albayzin Mosque at the Mirador de San Nicolas, most famous viewing point of Granada and the Alhambra. After a lunch break, we walk down to the town center, visit the "souq" streets, and the area's most historical points.
Day 6. Departure from Málaga.
During the departure transfer, you will pass through the Southern mountain ranges of Andalusia, which belonged entirely to the Kingdom of Granada during the last 250 years of Muslim Spain.
